What a couple of weeks it has been for our junior members out and about. First our junior boys champion, Sam Nicholson wins the Fife County Boys Matchplay Championships. Now Evanna Hynd (only 13 years old!) has gone and won the Fife County Girls Strokeplay Championships. A big well done to both on great achievements. 

Let's hope this encourages and motivates some of our other promising young junior golfers into practicing and playing more. The hard work along with the good fun of competing is certainly paying off for Sam and Evanna.  



Our very own Evanna Hynd won the Patrick Trophy yesterday at Burntisland GHC, which is the Fife County Girls scratch championship trophy. 

A huge well done to Evanna from everyone at Ladybank GC. Evanna at only 13 years of age has another few years to hopefully retain her trophy! 

Evanna recently underwent a full day's assessment at Kingsfield Golf Club along with 16 other girls. She has been successful in securing a place in the tier 1 stage, which will provide her with the support she needs to play at a higher level, e.g. golf psychology, fitness, food and nutrition as well looking at her golf stats. 

She is looking forward to meeting other academy members at her first residential weekend, that takes place at Tulliallan in a few months time, and is ready for the hard work ahead of her.
