Our Open Championship Sweepstake was won by Bill Murray.
Congratulations to Bill on picking Zach Johnson and we hope you enjoy your new trolley as much as Zach will enjoy celebrating with the Claret Jug.
Congratulations to Bill Low on winning Saturday's ball sweep. Bill, please see us to pick up your balls.
Congratulations to Zach Johnson who was a worthy and humble winner! From the club's perspective it was a very busy week with a great deal of visitor play. We would like to thank all the members for being so supportive and welcoming to the many visitors that came to the club.
The feedback on the golf course was overwhelmingly positive with many visitors being repeat customers having played the course in 2010 when The Open was last in town.
There really was a fantastic buzz around the place, even though the weather at times wasn't the best. Role on the next St Andrews Open!

Tim Poyser - Class A PGA Professional
Many of you by now will have met, and got to know, the 3rd PGA Professional within our team this summer, Tim Poyser. Now that Tim has settled in to the team he is keen to persue the teaching side of the golf business which is his main passion.
Tim completed his PGA training at The Renaissance Club in East Lothian and at Houston Oaks Country Club in Texas. At both places one of Tim's role was to teach golf. Tim now works at The Old Collier Club in Naples, Florida during the winter where he teaches and caddies.
Tim also visits the Jim McLean Golf School at Doral in Miami, Florida where he is mentored by the Director of Instruction, David Armitage. Tim has also built up a relationship with Jim McLean himself ( http://jimmclean.com) and hopes to continue visiting the school when he returns to Florida in October. Please click here to see Tim's flier for more information regarding his golf coaching.
