Last Sunday was our annual Junior Prizegiving which was a great success, we ran a 7 hole fun format before the prizegiving for juniors and parents. Adam held the prize giving in the clubhouse with many trophies being handed out to some great up and coming juniors.
|
Would also like to say a big thank you to Jim Hair (Gents Captain) and Christine Mathers (Ladies Captain) who came along and presented some of the prizes. Also thanks to Andy Mather for his continued support and help with the running of the prize giving. |

SGTWEEK 2019
This week Martin, Sandy, Alison and Brian McSkimming have attended Scottish Golf Tourism Week at The Fairmont St Andrews. This is primarily a show for Tour Operators to meet up with golf courses, accommodation providers and local services.
There were 106 suppliers so to speak attending and many more Tour Operators on show too. A huge event and one of the best in the Scottish golfing calendar.
It was a great success with us meeting many new Tour Operators and spreading the Ladybank name far and wide. With an improved international network of contacts, we hope to see some more foreign visitors to Ladybank in the near future sampling our excellent product.

Box Of Tricks Evening
Scottish Golf put on a junior ‘box of tricks’ night at Kinross Golf Club which was attended by Adam Stott, Andy Mather, Craig McEwan and Gordon Halliday. The night was very informative with some great opportunities for our kids in 2020.
A new format has been introduced by Scottish Golf called Golf Sixes which is a fun team format for beginner golfers in the junior section, more news to follow on this.

This was a great night and many thanks to the volunteers for attending! |
82 Not Out "As far as playing until 52, I hope that's the case.” – Tiger Woods Back into the ring for the first time since knee surgery, Tiger Woods once again proved that class is permanent by equaling Sam Snead’s PGA Tour record of 82 wins with victory at the inaugural Zozo Championship. A typhoon named Bualoi (which wiped out play on Friday) and the requirement for a fifth day couldn’t stop Tiger from dominating an impressive field in which he led home Matsuyama by three on 19-under-par. Snead was 52 years old when he won his 82nd PGA Tour title and Tiger equalled it at 43 - impressive stuff! |
In 2018, only January saw more rainfall in the UK than November. Not the happiest of stats to highlight, but one that shows the inevitability of being caught in a few downpours this month, making a waterproof and spacious bag vital if you want to tackle the unpredictable British weather. |
| Titleist Players 4 Plus StaDry Stand Bag | The name of this lightweight bag says all you need to know when it comes to its waterproof ability. Add in seam-sealed zippers to protect your personal belongings and six spacious pockets, and we think you'll be hard-pressed finding a better option.
|
| Titleist StaDry Cart Bag | Its big brother equivalent has the same waterproof fabric but in a more spacious cart option. We know plenty of you enjoy using an electric trolley out on the course, and we think this might well be the perfect bag to go with it. |
