Gregor Passes Final PGA Exams
Congratulations to our very own Gregor who passed his final examinations with the PGA last week. For those of you who don't know the PGA exams are an intense four year course comprising of exams and in depth course works. With the aim to make you a well rounded professional! I am glad to see Gregors hard work over the last four years has paid off. The qualification is now a nationally regarded `Foundation Degree` course.
Well done to Gregor on a fantastic achievement.

It was great to see Stephen Gallacher picked for the Ryder Cup team and a further boost to Scottish Golf. Stephen who grew up within 40 miles of Gleneagles is sure to increase the buzz around the tournament as now we have a fellow Scot to cheer along. Paul McGinley it would appear has not put a foot wrong since he took over as Captain. Lets hope we are all still saying the same on completion of the matches!
With The PGA Centenary course now closed until the matches start on the Friday 26th of September, the course will be getting some really special treatment from a vast team of green keepers in the lead up to the event. There are over 30 staff currently preparing the course so expect a very manicured Gleneagles come the opening matches.
