Club news

Still plenty to come

There's still loads going on at the club with prizegivings for the seniors, gents and ladies coming up shortly. Our junior prizegiving went ahead on Sunday with a brilliant turnout of kids and parents.

Grant and Lisa had an amazing turnout for their first Sunday Carvery. The next one will take place Sunday, 3 December.

On Sunday, 10 December we will be holding our Children's Christmas Party from 2pm to 4pm. For ages 10 years and under and will cost £12. For more details please click here.

Sunday carvery

Take the hassle out of Sunday with a traditional Sunday Carvery, followed by our Chef's daily dessert, while overlooking the 18th hole in the relaxed surroundings of Ladybank Golf Club.

Following the first successful Sunday Carvery, the next one will take place on Sunday, 3 December.

So please make space in your diary and come along
with your friends and family.

Greens maintenance

In my last blog I informed everyone that we would be starting greens maintenance on Monday, 16 October. This is one of the busiest periods for us where timings and conditions are key to ensure a smooth operation and to encourage quick recovery.

Fitting day

Date for your diary

Following on from this we have our Titleist fitting day on Saturday, 11 November 10am-2pm.

It will be great to see the new 718 iron range in action with the 818 hybrids. These are really special clubs and well worth a try.

Competition news

LCL Tri-Am result

Last Saturday the club hosted the annual Tri-Am match and welcomed Lundin and Crail to Ladybank.

One player from each club made up a team which went out on a shotgun start.

Conditions were perfect for scoring with the eventual winners, Mark Carruthers, Alistair McMeekin (Crail) and Gary Mitchell (Lundin) winning by four shots with an excellent score of 136.

Thanks to all who participated for making it a great day. Next years event will be hosted by Lundin.

Afterwards the presentation of the LCL trophy was presented to Lundin GC by Club Captain Brian McSkimming.

Handicap winter league

The handicap winter league team played a league fixture at Charleton on Sunday, 29 October. The team suffered a 3-1 defeat.
