Upcoming events

This week see's our last gents midweek medal so it will be down to Saturdays from here on to get that handicap cut prior to the end of the season. We still have several counting competitions left for both ladies and gents so check out the competition schedule online and get booked in.

PING Scottish Mixed Championship

Congratulations to Marion Campbell & Mark Johnston on qualifying for the Inaugural PING Scottish Mixed Championship, to be held at the Queen’s Course, Gleneagles on Monday, 18 September.

The qualifying round was held in conjunction with the Miller Trophy which was played in May. PING have confirmed they will be hosting another club qualifier in 2018 so again we will run it with the Miller Trophy and hopefully we will have more members taking part.

Pro 'FUN' day

Our Pro FUN Day is on Sunday, 24 September and sign up is available now in the Pro Shop. It really will be a fun day with all members eligible to play in teams of three or four. It's a fun format over 15 holes 1-3 then 7-18 with 'Beat the Pro', Chipping competition, food afterwards and great prizes on the day. We really hope you all get involved. See details below:

Failing to prepare...

We don’t want to be the ones to say it, but we’re now in September so it’s time to start thinking about preparing yourself for the wetter months. It’d be great to see more of you on the course this winter and if you intend to play right through to next spring, a pair of waterproof shoes is a must.
