Open Week
The last week has seen a busy week at the club with both people and weather. There was a great response from our volunteers for both the gents and ladies opens. Thanks to all who took the time to help out. We are looking for some assistance for our gents senior open regards scoring during the day. If anyone is prepared to help out who has done some match and handicap duties before please click here to get in touch.
The weather has been very mixed all week but thankfully now there is an improved forecast. With the greens running at 10 on the stimp meter and the course in fantastic condition, we should see some excellent scoring in the coming weeks.
Ladies Open
Congratulations to two of our prize winners Lorna Bennett and Lynn Murray who both performed superbly at our Ladies Open. Please see results below.
Thanks must also go to all the ladies who organised things on the day supported by Vice Captain Cath Findlay pictured.
Handicap Open
Our Gents Handicap Open proved to be a huge success with around 160 golfers taking part and many volunteers helping on the day. Some of our helpers are pictured below. Many thanks for all your valuable help.
Top of the members was Jacky Henderson with his third place finish in the Gents Handicap Open. Well done Jacky!
Finals Day Greensomes Please see details pictured for a fun 9 hole competition on our Club Finals Day.
It is open to all our members and is intended to be a fun event before the Finals Day really swings into life.
Hopefully lots of you will make it along and join in on the day.
Tee times can be booked now in the pro shop.
