Greenkeepers
After some seriously heavy downpours this week the course has recovered remarkably well. With the June medal abandonment on Saturday evening around 5.30pm our greens staff did remarkably well to get the course in shape for the Scratch Open Sunday 7.30am. Albeit the preparations took much longer than normal due to some issues on course that needed their attention after the vast amount of rainfall.
Well done Colin, Dave and to our team on their efforts.

June Medal AbandonedAs a result of the inclement weather, late on Saturday afternoon, the M&H committee were forced to abandon the June Medal.
After several downpours in quick succession the course was unable to cope and several greens were completely waterlogged meaning several players could not complete their round.
After seeking guidance from the SGU it was decided that the fairest outcome was to abandon the competition and make it reductions only.
The June Medal will now be replayed on
Saturday, 24 June and the Grant Cup which was due to be played on that date will be rescheduled to
Saturday, 26 August.
Note, competitors who paid sweep and two's in the event, won't need to re-pay on Saturday, 24 June.
