Crail Craighead 3.5 vs Ladybank 0.5 

The winter league team travelled to Crail on Sunday, 26 February knowing a win or draw would secure the league title for Ladybank Golf Club. Unfortunately the team suffered a first league defeat of the season. The results were: 

1 - Stevie Hutcheon & Gordon Wilson - Lost 1 down 
2 - Craig Mathie & Colin Bennett - Lost 5&4 
3 - J D Grant & Brian Mcskimming - Halved 
4 - Fergus Johnstone & Duncan Glass - Lost 6&4 

Ladybank have completed our fixtures and now must wait for rearranged fixtures to be played. Charleton are the only team who can catch them at the top of the league but need two wins from there remaining two fixtures.

We have a good selection of demo clubs for you to try on course or on the practice area. With PING, Titleist and Callaway being our big three brands, we are happy to let you try this excellent product to see if it suits you anytime. Pop in and ask for a demo. 

Our demo days with these manufacturers and their company reps will be advertised shortly for delivery in April. 


 

Last Saturday saw the club used for a Fife Maggies event which attracted around 100 people and raised lots of money for an excellent cause. 

Fred MacCauley was the host with our own Pamela Stevenson organising the event. There was a caberet on the guitar by Martin John McGroarty which went down a storm. 

It is hoped that around £3000 was made on the evening.
