Club Fitting Update
We have done several fittings in the last few week for irons, woods and wedges. One of the fittings I'd like to highlight was with Bobby Robertson. Bobby was looking to update his driver based on the more up to date technology currently available. After a fitting with me for the Titleist 917 D2 and at the National Fitting Centre St Andrews for the Callaway Epic driver, he achieved a distance gain of 16 yards on his older PING G5 driver with both clubs. In the end he decided on the Titleist 917 D2 as he preferred the look and feel. Quite an impressive gain for an already very good player.
If we can achieve this with a low handicap player who had been fitted a few years ago, just think what we can do for someone who hasn't been fitted and really has the wrong driver!!
Bobby gave us a little testimonial of his fitting:
" I was delighted with the service provided by Sandy and all the guys from the National Fitting Centre at St. Andrews, and am looking forward to putting the extra yardage into good use this season. Look out!"
We now have in stock the vast majority of our PING fitting irons and shafts for ladies and gents. This along with the full fitting kit for all the Titleist product and the ability to get you along to St Andrews to the National Fitting Center for Callaway means we are covered in these areas if you are looking for any advice or to get a fitting organised.
I`ve mentioned it a few times now but after a good check over the internet we can guaruntee to beat internet prices on new up to date equipment from these manufacturers. With FREE fitting available from Gregor, Ryan and myself we really are here to help you get the best fit and advice possible on what can be a daunting trip into the unknown when your looking for new clubs. We also have demo clubs available if you`d like to have a try yourself.

Aiming for a younger demographic The European Tour have introduced some innovative ideas for the season ahead. The World Super 6 combined 54 holes of stroke play with a final-day knockout, whilst GolfSixes, which takes place later in the year, sees two-man teams battle it out over six holes in a group stage, before progressing to a final-day knockout.
