The handicap winter league team played two matches recently, the results were as follows:
Away match v Charleton on Sunday, 8 November - The match result was a two each draw. The scores were as follows:

Game 2 - Dugald MacGregor & Lewis Ballentine - Won 1 up
Game 3 - Gary Walsh & Andrew Buchan - Won 4 and 2
Game 4 - Gordon Wilson & Gordon Mathie - Lost 1 down
Home match v Leven GS on Sunday, 22 November the match result was a 3 to 1 win. The scores were as follows:

Game 2 - Fergus Johnstone & Duncan Glass - Won - opponents walked off when 7 down thru 9 holes
Game 3 - David Payne & Scott Owen - Lost 1 down

The team's next match is on 27th November with a home match against Charleton in the Knockout Cup.
As recently approved by Green Committee, the following course improvements & construction works are planned time and weather permitting. Some of these winter works may require temporary greens, tees or a re-routing of player traffic, to allow safe and efficient progress, for which members' cooperation is appreciated.
Course aeration work
- Verti-drain work (fairways and miscellaneous compact and worn areas)
- Slit tine fairways
- Greens (verti-drain/ solid tining as required)
- Tees and aprons (verti-drain as required)
Bunker Refurbishment
- Rebuild up to eight bunkers to enhance heathland characteristics on holes 1 to 3 (and possibly hole 5) in line with STRI recommendations
- Edge and tidy faces
Rough/Broom management
- Removal of small broom plants in heather with strimmers
- Dead (chemically treated) broom and scrub cutting ? Manage roughs/ broom with cut and collect approach - (using hire machine)
Tree management plan
- Stage 3.3: following on from Stage 3.2 the tree removal process to continue in conjunction with STRI environmental plan to enhance heathland characteristics

- Flagpins, tee markers, tees signs, seats, bins
