Last Saturday was our annual Ladies Open. A day in the calendar our ladies put a lot of effort into and this year saw an excellent field to match the endeavour of Fiona Whitton ladies Captain and her Committee. Please see results below.

Our very own Susan Jackson won a very special treble weekend in winning the St Regulus Club Championship Friday evening, our Ladies Open scratch prize with a fantastic 72 on Saturday and finally the Ladies Club Championship final at Ladybank on the Sunday. Susan has now won the Ladies Championship six times in a row!! Well done to Susan.

Another hat trick hero was Ally Hain. Ally became only the second player in club history after Ernie Wilson to win the Ladybank Club Championship Final three times in a row. A fantastic achievement - Well done Ally.

Our club finals day as always was a very special day and was played in a great spirit. Congratulations to everyone who made it through to Finals day. 

I'm sure our winners will feel like the icing was put on the cake so to speak during the day.

Junior Club Championships

For the first year in a while we had a girls Club Championship final as well as a boys. The two girls in question Brogan Tasker and Molly Wilson played their game in an excellent spirit, with quite a few spectators. The match was so evenly balanced that they even had to go to extra holes to decide the eventual winner. 

On getting back to the club house and speaking to them you wouldn't have known who had won as they both were smiling so much and looked like they had a great time out on the course. Molly eventually managed to win the game, however it was their enthusiasm and camaraderie that stole the show for me. Great to see you guys having a great time at the club and keep up the good work:) Sorry to embarrass you!!!

  

The boys' final was a very close affair also with Sam Nicholson clinching victory over Lewis Ballantyne at the last in a very entertaining match. Well done to Sam on another win in the Final.
