This week has seen a lot of activity at the club with our annual scratch open along with various other medals etc on. With the main event being the 36 hole scratch open, we should start there. It was great to see both Kenny Rattray and Ryan Walsh leading the way at the halfway stage with handy scores of 71.
Unfortunately they both couldn't hang on in the afternoons very windy conditions. This let our eventual winner, A Parlane (Helensburgh) finish with an excellent total of 71, 73. 144 which considering the conditions was very good indeed.

Our ladies played in the club championship qualifying on Monday and those brave soles who played on Monday evening are to be commended highly. There was some great scoring though in awful conditions. See the results below

With our annual picture competition finished (congratulations to Roy Wicks on winning) we received somewhat of a late entry from Jim Duncan.
Jim is a very keen photographer and has been known to be on the fairways before most of us are up!!

Sunday also saw our junior short game league and an excellent attendance of 17 junior golfers. Well done to everyone who turned out in the windy conditions. It was great to see so much enthusiasm around among the juniors.
It was also great to see some terrific scoring. Thanks must also go to Andrew Buchan our junior convenor and Lewis Ballantyne, junior captain who ran the competition this week. Please see results below.
Monday is "Tip Day"!
Come along to the club to receive some tips from two of Ladybank's PGA Professionals, Gregor & Tim.
Each Monday Gregor Wright and/or Tim Poyser will offer tips on a pre-determined part of the golf game such as chipping or putting.
There will be 3 allocated time slots each Monday, 11am-12pm, 1pm-2pm & 6.30pm-7.30pm. Starting from Monday, 15 June and running throughout the summer.
Simply add your name to which slot you'd like to the sign up sheets, which shall be positioned on the "Events" section of the ladies or gents notice boards. The price per session is only £5 per person!
