Book recommendation
I’ve been advocating this book to a few people of late but thought it would be good to share. It really is a great book and can help clear up any clutter if you have a bit too much going on in the brain regards your golf. Enjoy ‘Golf From Point A’ Ryder Cup buzz and how we can learn from it
I’m sure everyone got an amazing buzz from a brilliant Ryder Cup at La Golf National. There has been a lot written and talked about the event since, however one thing possibly missed is how happy and positive the European players looked in comparison to the USA players in general.
From the many books I read and CPD events I attend, one thing that really has jumped out this year is how important your emotions and language used about your golf, yourself, possible shots played and the course is. Hence one of the reasons for recommending ‘Golf from point A’.
By being positive about your golf, the course and each and every shot outcome (pre shot) you give yourself a much better opportunity to play good golf without doing anything else. Simply visualising the correct shot you want to hit pre shot will vastly improve your golf performance. Thinking 2/3 swing thoughts definitely will not.
This is surely something we can all do every day at the course and it WILL improve your golf guaranteed. Not often you hear someone guaranteeing to improve your golf but this WILL for certain. Why not give it a try.
See and exert below from the book.
