This is the annual opportunity for gentlemen members to invite a friend from another Club with a competition handicap to play in a four ball better ball competition over our course. As always there will be many excellent prizes to be won. It has been agreed to increase the entry fee from £10 to £25 and the increase will provide the member and his guest with a one course hot buffet meal after their round. Forms are now available in the foyer of the Club and the completed form and the entry fee should be returned to the office staff or posted in the competition entry box in the gents changing rooms. The closing date for entries will be Sunday, 20th July.

Best Putter in the Club competition
After a 5 way tie for first place with 11 putts around our 6 hole course. We decided to whittle it down via last three, then last two and finally last hole better inward score. Results to follow shortly.

Lewis Ballantyne won the 'Colin Clark Memorial Junior Cup' and the 'Bell Baxter School Scratch Championship' with a Gross score of 72 on Elmwood Golf Course.
