This past week has again been a busy one at the club. The golf course continues to get rave reviews from the many golfers that have played. The roughs continue to get a going over by the versatile Wiedenmann Super 500.
The first bunker on the 6th hole has now been completed and reverted to grass. The AGM took place on Tuesday evening and was attended by a good number of members.
There is also plenty of work going on behind the scenes as we gear up to what should be an excellent season.
Personally I've been busy looking at ways to improve our member and visitor experiences through the Pro Shop in the coming year, along with looking further at different stock options for the season ahead.
One stock decision we have made is to bring in store the new Sunderland of Scotland product as from mid February.
Some of this product will come crested and the waterproof jackets have an amazing life time waterproofing warranty!
I've also been to see Under Armour and adidas in the last week and we have decided to add a small amount of their footwear to our extensive FootJoy range. Our FootJoy range of shoes will arrive very early in February.
Perhaps the stand out meeting in the last week was with Callaway, who continue to push the boundaries with their new Epic driver. Why not find out for yourself what all the fuss is about and book a fitting today FREE of charge through ourselves. Fitting normally costs £60 at the national fitting centre in St Andrews if you book yourself, however do it through us and it's FREE. We will even get you any prescribed clubs for less than you can buy them for on the internet.
