I'm currently in the middle of a busy ten day spell. Having just returned from the Foremost Golf Industry Awards and Conference last night in Milton Keynes, we now enter our final preparations for the club prize giving this week.
Next week I'm off down to the Belfry for my annual two days, to pass on some of my knowledge to the trainee Professionals on the subject of golf coaching.
Ryan has been unlucky to be allocated the same two days as me. I'm sure he can't wait to have to put up with me for two days lecturing/coaching!
Regarding the Foremost Golf conference, it was an excellent two days of learning and several things cropped up that I aim to improve about our operation in the Pro Shop over the winter months.
Foremost are a very progressive buying group who help us to buy at the best prices, so we can offer you the best deals. However, they are also at the forefront of customer service and technology especially, and they continually push us to improve your experience of our Pro Shop and related activities.
One area that did really impress me were the results from our annual customer survey. An incredible amount of our members filled in the survey (125), this against and average nationally of 71. So a huge thanks to you for filling in the survey. The results are invaluable to me regarding our buying for next season, amongst other things.
However, one of my main aims in the next two months is to respond to you all regards your individual results with suggestions, advice or ways to help you get the most from your game. We really are here to help you play the best golf and have the most fun you can whilst enjoying your favourite hobby.
Thanks again to our many members who filled in the survey and we will be in touch in the coming months with ideas to help.
Regards,
