Last week saw us hold the first of our #WeDeliverMore FREE clinics. The putting clinic went down well with ten members attending and getting an insight into how to improve their putting. Hopefully this will be reflected in some great scoring shortly. See below for coming clinics.
The remaining clinics we are holding for the #WeDeliverMore campaign are;
- Short game clinic - Friday, 6 May 4pm
- Long Game masterclass - Thursday, 19 May 4pm

Match & Handicap update
We are still looking for volunteers to play in the Drumoig match at home 12pm on Sunday, 8 May. Food is provided after the match. There is only 4 names on the sheet thus far and a team of 12 is required. Drumoig have been in touch and have a full team eager to play. If we can't raise a team by Sunday we will need to cancel the match for the 2nd year in a row.
Card numbers on scorecards - After last weeks reminder regards filling in all the required details including the card number on your competition scorecard, we have seen an improvement. However there are still a few who don't appear to have taken this on board. If you are a more experienced player then please check your partners card to ensure everyone is getting these details correct.
Thanks for your help in advance.

PGA Titleist/FootJoy Club Professional's qualifier held at Ladybank
This week saw us host the above qualifier. In atrocious weather conditions there was some brilliant scoring.
To view the full leaderboard, please click here.
The feedback from the competing Professional's was highly complimentary of the golf course conditioning. It's a great feather in the cap for
Colin and our green staff who couldn't have foreseen the very poor spring conditions but have a golf course that is the envy of many. See some Facebook posts below highlighting this:
Norman Huguet - The Musselburgh GC Can't believe how good condition Ladybank GC was today. If only the weather was as good! thanks to Sandy Smith and Ladybank GC for hosting the tournament today.
Ian Taylor - Drumpelier GC
Great company with Kenny Monaghan & Malcolm Isaacs today in the Titleist & Foot-Joy PGA Pro Champs. Maybe next year we can play it in the spring or summer!!! Huge thanks to
Sandy Smith & everyone at Ladybank. Hospitality & course were magnificent again.
Jonny Sharp Carrick on Loch Lomond
Always a pleasure to play Ladybank GC and today was no different, top class golf club. Thank you to Sandy Smith and his team for hosting us.
Greg Paxton - Ralston GC Just back from playing Ladybank GC for the first time today in the Titleist and Footjoy Championship Qualifier. Great golf course in outstanding condition. Well worth a visit. Finished tied 3rd . Delighted to qualify for finals at The Oxfordshire in July.
Craig Haugh - Cawder GC Agreed course was absolutely superb cheers.
5 hole on course session only £45 Last week I told you of my offering of a five hole session on course for only
£45 . Our first participant was
Sandy Aitken who was keen to look at his technique rather than the mental aspects.
Sandy was given a couple of small pointers mainly in his set up to various shots, as he was swinging the club well. These seemed to really improve matters and
Sandy is away to work on these elements.
If you fancy coming along to try the five hole coaching session on the mental, technical or even how to beat the course from a course management point, please call or
Still running! We have a members only shirt promotion for the rest of April.
Buy two of these crested shirts for only

£19.98.
